Our reindeer are lucky to live in their natural native habitat here in the Cairngorm mountains, the only herd in the UK to do so. The Cairngorms is full of beautiful mountains both big and small. This year, we wanted to highlight some of our favourite hills and mountains within the Cairngorms. It was very hard to narrow it down to just twelve mountains so we have chosen some of the hills within the reindeer range and some of the further afield mountains on the high plateau.

Complementing these featured mountains are large seasonal photos of our herd doing what they do best, perfectly at home in the sub-arctic ecosystem of the Cairngorms. From the snowy winter months through calving time in spring, the summer on the high tops in their short coats, and finally to the autumn rutting season, when the reindeer look their smartest with fully grown antlers. We hope you enjoy this journey through the reindeer year.
