Paddocks and Exhibition

Visiting the Paddocks is an opportunity for those unable to join us on the Hill Trips to keep it simple and see some of our beautiful reindeer -the Paddocks and Exhibition are accessible for all.

Our lovely reindeer spend most of their lives up on the mountains and only visit the Paddock area down in Glenmore for a few days at a time, swapping with others on the hill on rotation. Please note that whilst you’ll be close to the reindeer, we are hands-off with them so don’t pat or hand-feed them in the Paddocks – just like us they do appreciate their personal space.

After a total rebuild of the area in 2024, our renovations are still ongoing but the new Exhibition opened in October 2025 (and will be added to throughout 2026!). In addition, we have a small quiz available for children (bring a pen/pencil if possible).

Through November, entry is by donation (suggested amount £2.50 per person), whilst construction work is completed.

Prices

Adults: £5

Students/Over 65s: £4.50

Children (age 3-16): £4

0-2s: free

(Our booking agent will add a small handling fee on top of your ticket price)

Tickets will be available from 30 days in advance. On weekends in December and throughout the Christmas holidays it is highly recommended that tickets are pre-booked online – they will sell out at times!

The Paddocks and Exhibition are open from 10am daily, and at the moment we don’t have outside lighting set up, so we recommend arriving no later than 3.30pm to see the reindeer before the daylight fades.
